Keeping in view the provisions of the Right to Information Act, and also our image as an organization which is working in a transparent manner, observing good corporate governance principles, we disclose in the following pages the information regarding working of our organization, for the benefit of our customers and general public.

4.1.(b) (i) The particulars of its organization, functions and duties. Kaveri Grameena Bank was formed on 1st November, 2012 on amalgamation of Cauvery Kalpataru Grameena Bank (Sponsored by State Bank of Mysore), Chikamagalur-Kodagu Grameena Bank ( Sponsored by Corporation Bank) and Visveshvaraya Grameena Bank (Sponsored by Vijaya Bank) vide Notification No.1/5/2011 RRB-(Karnataka) Ministry of Finance, GOI dated 1st November,2012. The Bank operates in ten southern districts of Karnataka state viz., Mysuru, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, Ramanagara, Kodagu, Chikamagalur, Hassan, Tumkuru, Bengaluru Rural & Urban Districts.

The Bank has a three tier Organizational set up comprising its Head Office at Mysore, 8 Regional Offices and 487 branches as on 31.03.2016 spread over 10 Southern Districts in the Karnataka State. For location of Branches, their addresses => click on Branch Network & Organization Structure.

The Bank, carries on the business of banking as envisaged under the provisions of Banking Regulation Act, 1949 and the functions under the overall guidance of Ministry of Finance , Reserve Bank of India and the Board of Directors of the Bank.
4.1.(b)(ii) The powers and duties of its officers and Employees. The powers and duties of the Officers and Employees are as per the Bipartite Settlements signed at the industry level , with the approval of the Bank???s Board. Apart the Bank issues Circulars, guidelines and instructions regarding duties, responsibilities and powers of Officers and Employees in the Bank.
4.1.(b)(iii) The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability. There is a well defined system in the Bank regarding the decision making process. Financial decisions are taken at various levels by different Officials depending upon their positions and also through committee approach. Further, there is a well defined organizational structure and clear system of accountability and control system. The Board of Directors of the Bank or its committees are empowered to formulate policies regarding the delegation of powers to various functional heads. The Board of Directors are in turn guided by the policies of Government of India and Reserve bank of India in formulating policies for implementation by the Bank.
4.1.(b)(iv) The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions. Bank follows the directions issued by the Board of Directors through policies duly approved by it and guidelines issued by the regulators NABARD & Sponsor Bank.
4.1.(b)(v) The rules, regulations, instructions, Manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions. Periodic circulars & Manuals are issued and made available to all the staff members working in the Bank for discharging various functions and duties. The Bank???s circulars & manuals are meant only for internal circulation and of commercial value , as such not placed on public Domain.
4.1.(b)(vi) A statement of the categories of documents that are held by it or under its control. Documents as required under central & State Laws, such as Balance Sheet, record of staff members, licenses obtained from the RBI for opening Branches/Offices are held by the Bank.

Branches hold the documents relating to loan borrowers and deposit customers.
4.1.(b)(vii) The particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by, the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof. There is no arrangement for consultation with the members of Public in formulating any of the policies of the Bank.
4.1.(b)(viii) A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public. Board of Directors is constituted under the Regional Rural Bank???s Act,1976 (RRB ACT) and various committees as per the requirement of the Bank are formed as per the approval of Board or by the top management, as per the powers delegated by the Board. Following are some of the important Committees managing the key affairs of the Bank:

2. Credit Committee of the Board

3. Asset Liability Committee.

Public are not entitled to participate in the meetings of the Board and minutes are not accessible to the Public.
4.1.(b)(ix) A directory of its Officers and Employees. The pay structure, allowances and the system of compensation payable to each category of staff members is based on the lines defined by the Government of India and those enumerated in the Staff Service Regulations advised to the RRBs. The details of the monthly remuneration paid to each staff members are maintained by the Bank. The range Pay structure of different category of staff members is provided here under:

4.1.(b)(xi) The budget allocated to each of its agencies, indicating the particulars of all plans, proposed expenditures and reports on disbursements made. There is no provision of Budget allocation for Bank for proposed expenditure and disbursements.
4.1.(b)(xii) The manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including the amounts allocated and the details of beneficiaries of such programmes. The Government of India/ RBI and State Government have issued specific guidelines from time to time for claiming and appropriation of subsidy provided under Government Sponsored Schemes and the same is being implemented.
4.1.(b)(xiii) Particulars of recipients of concessions, permits or authorizations granted by it. The Bank has not granted any concession, permits or authorization and the business activity of the Bank has no relationship with any public activity or public interest.
4.1.(b)(xiv) Details in respect of the information, available to or held by it, reduced in an electronic form. All the general information regarding deposits, advances and other services offered by the Bank are available on our website www.kaverigrameenabank.com.
4.1.(b)(xv) The particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information, including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use. The citizens can visit our various Bank???s Branches /offices for obtaining information on the various deposits/ lending schemes & services offered by the Bank. Further, the citizen can also visit Bank???s website www.kaverigrameenabank.com for general information.

At present Bank does not have library or reading rooms for the Public.
